This inexpensive devise greatly improve my FM radio reception of numerous stations, and is definitely recommended.
I had done alot of reviewing these phone before I went with the panisonic alot of them are not clear and you can't understand a thing they say. But the panisonic is the best out there.The volume is clear and I love it I don't have to jump up to see who is calling I just seat still and after the second ring it will tell you so you can answer or not. Love it anyone wanting one get the panisonic 2.4GHz
This case is great. It fits the xmp3 radio perfectly.The clip is great for when I'm running.The leather is nice. It's an overall great product.
I love the color and the simplicity but while working out it can be difficult to get to. Other than that great product
I love this gizmo because we live in the mountains of Arizona and it's the only thing that makes it possible to receive clear reception from AM radio stations 100 miles away. It's easy to set up..no wires, just move it around near the radio and turn the dial until the station comes in clearly. The only draw back is it a bit bulky..about 12" in diameter, so takes up a bit of space. Select-A-Tenna Regular Model
I bought a new receiver and it arrived within 4 business days.Easy to install, and it works much better than the old receiver.I'd say, don't buy a used one to avoid the issues with previously-activated units.

Being that my 20-in. Sony Trinitron TV only has one A/V input, I ended up deciding to get an A/V selector so that I could plug my new DVD player into it. Originally, though, I was thinking of getting Sony's SB-V40S. But then I found that Terk sold this one for about half the price, and it was literally identical to Sony's except for one thing: Terk's A/V selector has gold-plated connectors. And being that this helps prevent rust & improves signal transfer, it was easy to make the decision to purchase the Terk VS-4.
I got one of these free with purchase of my Kenwood Sirius Ready tuner and installed it in my minivan behind a sidewall.It came with a long cable to connect to the in-dash controller.And with the Terk antenna there was plenty of cable length to get the antenna to the rear of the roof.I used cable ties rather than the bolt-on brackets to mount the Sirius tuner.
We bought 4 of these and upon receiving them only one works.Very unhappy!!!I went to the Bellsouth website and this item cannot be found.So I went to the site listed on the paperwork (uselectronics) and found a site "under construction".
There are other xm after-market antennas on the market, and most of them are much less expensive. I have changed out 2 of those in the past, and continuosly had problems in high traffic areas and under bridges getting pops, hissing and even interruptions in service. When I saw this one at best buy (I paid $40) I thought it was a bit excessive, but after seeing the one in the mobile audio installers car I was sold. I installed this one and sure enough, crystal clear sound! Really allowed me to enjoy my XM in an entirely new way, In fact I felt robbed that I did not have this before. Now even in crowded areas and going under a bridge I have full bars, in a tunnel today I lost connection, but the second I saw light, I had it back. You can even feel the better quality of this chord, being a thicker rubber that really feels substantial. Anyone who is really serious about the XM unit or who is an audiophile, it's worth a pick-up.
The antenna and conversion cables worked great. The splitters worked fine for Sirius but gave me a distorted picture on the cable. I ran a separate coax line for the Sirius and all works great. Best satellite reception I ever had!
If you have a scanner and are trying to get ultralow bands, then this is for you. It does what is says it does, but it isn't going to change the way you do scanning.
This adapter makes FM modulation bearable in cities where the available channels are few and far between.The adapter cuts out the selected frequency so only XM can use it.It works well even on frequencies that have high powered stations.
This cable made a major improvement in signal strength.Better than my old rg6.
Great Signal (better than a MyFi XM2Go ) because the XM antenna is on the top of the headphones . Even in the woods fair Signal some cutouts. But poor Case design VERY hard to get out of The dock to use in your car.

I chose this shower radio because it had an appealing look and a very simple design.My shower radio needs are minimal, I just like to listen to the news in the morning when I shower.Sadly, the design of this radio makes it difficult to use, the sound quality is sub-standard and it gets lousy reception.

Terk Technology AM-1000 Advantage Passive AM Indoor Antenna I received this antenna to use with my Bose radio.It did not improve the reception.When the item was shipped the supplier (Great Lakes Wholesale) did not include any information about the item or instructions on how to return.There was only a return label with name and address on the box.I called Amazon and received the order number and instructions on returning the antenna.I returned it with a letter and I also had email correspondence with Great Lakes and asked that they send me a new one if it was broken or to refund my charges if it was in working order.I asked these questions in a letter with the product and also by email.The only reply I received was a refund to my credit card but no explaination.Also in my letter I asked for a refund of shipping charges ($7.52) and this was not done.If you have questions you can reach me at 541 754 6177 or 541 754 2223. This would serve its intended purpose, but there may be better quality items out there.One that would be better sealed and allows you to feed the smaller end (with screw on end piece) into the cab of the vehicle through a smaller hole.I don't recall the brand, but a simple search may solve that for you.(Wire and connector kit) K40 I believe??
If you own a Garmin Astro 220 this is a great add on. Most dog hunters spend a lot more money on snacks and drinks over a weekend than this will run you
When I purchased my satellite radio the mount that came with the system didn't work with my car.I drive and infinity G35 and for all those who drive them know that the dashboard is curved thus making it impossible to mount anything on it.I did some research and found this suction-cup mount kit and it works great.I highly recommend this product for anyone that 1. drives and infinity G35 or 2. just wants a cleanly mounted system.
My only drawback with this is that it should have been a part of the package. It is a bit pricey
This antenna, in its package with all hardware, weighs 2 lbs, not 12 as this seller claims, I have one.This is why buying from Amazon is risky, they'll put any seller up there who asks.This seller will charge you $1.49 per pound, which is all extra hidden profit.Do not buy from charlatans, they do not deserve your business.
I have bought and used at least 3 of these in different locations.The product is intended for, and clearly labeled as for, OTA use.Not cable, not satellite, not internet - just broadcast over the air television.
The SIR-6 is a must-have for home listening.Our house has a lot of large trees that made getting a good signal with the standard antenna a real problem.With the SIR-6 the signal strength meter is at maximum all the time.I just attached the antenna to the facia board near the edge of the roof and ran the coaxial cable through a 7/16" hole drilled through a basement window frame.Then I ran the wire through a similar hole in the floor behind the entertainment center.You barely notice the antenna and the signal is perfect all the time.
I live in an area with very poor AM reception. My home is located in the mountains west of Denver. And for years from time to time I have tried every external AM antenna available and several different types of AM radios with no good results. The antennas included all of the TERK'sand CC Crane'sferrite loops both active and passive, dipoles, "long wire" antennas used by HAMS and a variety of active antennas with built in amplifiers with nogood results . My problem seems to stem from local inference radiated by my household and neighbor's AC wiring (noise from florescent lamps, computers, LANs, plasma TV's, motors, and light dimmers, etc) and generally weak AM signals shielded by the local terrain. My home does not have any line- of- sight to the AM transmitters I'm trying to receive from Denver 50 miles away.
I use this in a Grand Am in order to use a Sirius FM Modulator.It has worked great for a long time now.
I'm a recording musician so I can usually size up a piece of audio gear pretty quickly.These are out-of-the-box first impressions based on three days of use with additional reviews after 2 months.I don't know yet how the unit will hold up over time.It arrived *very* quickly by UPS and in perfect condition.But when I opened the box, took out the Hamilton CD563 and examined it, I almost panicked.It has NO separate tone controls.Not even one knob labeled "Tone", let alone separate bass and treble.Just a button marked "Bass" (boost).*Gulp*So I took it in my bedroom, hooked up the speakers and the power cord, plugged it in and put a CD in it.To my utter astonishment, that barely modifiable tone was nearly *perfect*.Very well-balanced.In the past, I've spent hours with my Sonys fiddling with the graphic equalizers (which invariably have all the wrong bands) and never got a sound this good.The frequency response is much wider than most units of this type.Deeper bass and extended treble.The bass is punchy and tight, never muddy.At first the treble seemed a little shrill but I was three feet from it and listening directly on-axis (right at it).I sat farther away with the unit on a shelf a little below head level and the tone evened out, revealing nice crisp, clear treble.There are just enough mids, which are amazingly detailed.This thing sounds better than my stereo, almost like compact studio monitors.The bass boost supplies just enough punchy kick for rock; turn it off for classical or jazz.Brainlessly simple.
I bought this antenna after reading about various different antennas. I wanted to run my home entertainment tuner. I live inside a small town of about 6500 people, and 32 miles from a very large city that offers many AM stations that I enjoy. I was very suprised to find that the AM doesn't work well enough to understand any stations, period. It is a static mess. However, I rate this 1 star instead of none because the FM works flawlessly. Very clear and pics up all the stations in the area as it should. If you are looking for an FM antenna, buy this. AM, don't waste your money, this thing is a peice of crap. How they can get away with calling this an AM antenna I don't know...
I have a company vehicle that I drive. So the plug-in play sirius radio comes in handy for me when I move from the company truck to my personal vehicle.
This radio has most of the features of ones costing three times as much . It is working flawlessly so far. With the extreamely cheap price I got it for here on Amazon and the fantastic rebate offer from Hummingbird there is probably no better value than this on the market today . I have had a few Solaras and they work fine but this radio seams as good or better for way less money ??? Buy it you will not be sorry you did!
Nice to find a product that works as advertised. We ran the antenna out of a window in our home. I was going to do a more permanant setup, but it is working so well I decided to leave it alone.
I bought this for a tv without cable. Didn't use it for awhile when I got cable hookups in every room. Now am using it again for fm reception. It's definitely better than nothing for that particular radio, providing twice as many channels. But the weakest ones are still very staticky, so I'm looking to upgrade. This one is rather larger and bulky, with the big rabbit ears. But, it's also lightweight and easy to move around. The cable is about 5', and is attached. It's coaxial, so you need that input or an adapter depending on what you might attach it to. Newer tvs no longer have coaxials I think, but digital converter boxes and the like do.
These antennas were made obsolete by the appearence of the newer micro antennas and single lead connectors. But don't discount uses for this 2-lead antenna yet, especially at the significantly reduced prices (one-half to one-third the cost of newer antennas).
Plug and play. I pugged it into my cars antenna and into the back of my aftermarket cd player and the radio worked. No problems.
Unfortunately this didn't work with out XM boombox without altering our radio.The plug was not the configuration- not to worry - a dremmel tool cut the sides of our boombox and we made it work. This was a HUGE disappointment.The plug should not have a bend in it, it should go straight into the receptacle.I would not reccomned this unless you are handy with a dremmel tool.
This kit works well attaching the Sirius Starmate Replay to my existing home stereo. I live in Los Angeles, so there is no trouble picking up a signal. I do think $39.99 is pretty expensive for a antennae, power supply, stereo cable, and a little metal stand, but I couldn't find any alternatives.

I've had a 4' FireStik KW4-W (the same antenna, only in white) on one of my cars for the past 5+ years and have been very pleased with it.It's a durable antenna that's made in the USA.The antenna is top loaded (coil is at the top) and it has a fiberglass whip.I'm using it with an old, barefoot, Cobra 20 PLUS radio.If you are new to CB radios, don't forget that you'll also need a mount, coax cable, and an SWR meter for tuning the antenna.More information on tuning the antenna is available on the FireStik website (at the bottom of this product's page or under "Tech Help").I'd recommend reading FireStik's "Tech Help" section and taking their advice when shopping for an antenna:"At least two-thirds of the antenna should be above a vehicles roof line for optimum performance."Also, make sure that you purchase a mount suitable for the length of your antenna. For example, if you mount a large fiberglass antenna through the thin sheet metal of a trunk deck, you're asking to damage the trunk deck.(Voice of experience)Similarly, if you use a magnetic mount to hold your antenna, make sure it's strong enough to support it.This antenna adjusts by removing the rubber cap and trimming the antenna down with a pair of diagonal pliers.Be warned that, if you over-trim, you'll be looking at adding a spring or quick disconnect between the antenna and the mount in order to lengthen the antenna again.If you want an antenna that is screw adjusted, take a look at the Firestik II FS series with the tunable tip.Over-all, I believe this is a great antenna.(I've also used the KW2-B & KW5-B in the past on other vehicles with excellent results.)
I have purchased two of these Midland units and have been happy with the performance. Nice value for a low price.
Good value for money.However, the first unit delivered had an intermittent power cord.The seller responded promptly and provided return shipping materials.The requested enclosure note explaining the problem and my desired conclusion to the purchase activity was ignored and after some time it was necessary to call again and direct them to send a replacement unit which has worked OK - with one peculiar characteristic as explained below.
Bottom plate threads strip out too easily. I suggest brazing larger nuts to the bottom plate and replacing the screws. This may help by-pass the stripping of the small thread surface. Otherwise design and concept is good, just needs a little extra work on your part to make antenna tuning and the ability to remove it easier.
Bought a RadioShack antenna rotator in September (2008) as part of a digital / HD TV upgrade project (new antenna; new mast).The rotator worked fine for 74 days, then it froze.
For the money it is okay - but sems to need constant adjustment.Would set it for a channel then come bak later in the day and needed to adjust again.

This is a great antenna. works great! pretty easy to install. Looks very cool. i would reccomend firestik antennas over any other.
I love this thing and am thinking of getting another for my cabin.I've had powered/amplified antennas in the past that don't work as well as the TERK does.it really pulls in the a.m stations and the ability to tune the antenna to the station helps temendously.
